The staff are so enthusiastic. I really like the girl who checked in at the front desk. She is playful but also a little shy. There are not many rooms in the hotel. There are only one group of Chinese families like us and several groups of Russian families, all with babies. Breakfast Not very rich.

A wonderful hotel for a small number of guests right on the ocean. Very friendly polite staff. Huge stylish rooms with ocean views. A beautiful panoramic pool, a cozy area on the lawn with sun loungers and hammocks under palm trees near the shore for complete relaxation and admiring the sunsets. We included in addition to breakfast and dinner. Beautiful presentation, large portions and very tasty. Nearby there is a large supermarket and a museum of masks. It's also not far to walk to the city where you can buy fruit. I recommend it for lovers of a secluded romantic getaway near a beautiful beach! We would gladly come back again.

Zum Ende einer Rundreise durch Sri Lanka haben wir hier die letzten 4 Nächte verbracht. Das kleine Hotel mit familiärer Atmosphäre liegt direkt am wunderschönen Strand. Man könnte den ganzen Tag aufs Wasser schauen und würde nicht genug bekommen. Unser Zimmer ist mit etwa 60 qm riesig. Separate Dusche, Jakuzzi-Wanne sowie eine geräumige Sitzecke. Eine große Terasse zur Meerseite rundet alles ab. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Der Pool ist bei der Hitze erfrischend und es gibt ausreichend Liegen. Sonnenschirme habe ich nicht gesehen, wir haben dann Schatten unter den Palmen gefunden. Sehr positiv ist das gesamte Personal zu beschreiben. Alles wird möglich gemacht, immer herzlich und freundlich. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft, liebevoll angerichtet und Wünsche werden erfüllt. Das perfekte Ende für eine schöne Reise. Kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of an organised trip round Sri Lanka. It was the perfect end to our holiday and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We had a wonderful welcome from the staff and then were shown to our rooms - a twin with garden access and a fantastic double which is the size of some houses with a balcony overlooking the gardens and sea. The food was delicious and generous. For breakfast there was a choice of hot cooked food as well as a fruit platter and hot drinks. For dinner we had a choice of starters, mains and puddings as well as a soup course. Lunch was available but we chose to walk a short distance up the road to an excellent supermarket which sold plenty of lunch food which we ate in our room or in the village. The pool was clean and refreshing and big enough to swim lengths. The gardens were cleaned and maintained daily and were immaculate. There is direct access to the beach which is beautiful and we enjoyed playing in the sea and walking in both directions. There are some crabs on the rocks at low tide which are fun to see but beware, the rocks can be slippery (I found this out the hard way!). We also had a massage here and although the room isn’t very glamorous, it was excellent and very good value. My son also spent some time in the gym which was air conditioned (he only found the controls at the end!). Thank you for a wonderful stay with fantastic staff!

Our stay at R Degrees Hotel Beach was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning property, delicious cuisine, and warm hospitality. The food was phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and with a wide variety that catered to all tastes. Service throughout our stay was outstanding; the staff were genuinely friendly, highly professional, and always went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel itself is breathtaking, featuring a beautifully maintained garden and a pristine beach. Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered stunning views. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the pool and indulging in the rejuvenating spa services. For the level of quality and experience, it’s worth every penny. We had an exceptional time at this hotel. Our room was spotless and impeccably maintained throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help—everything went smoothly from start to finish. Special thanks to Resort Manager Sachan and her entire team, who should be proud of the high standard of service they provide. The food was outstanding—delicious, varied, and of the highest quality. Highly recommended!

boutique hôtel de 9 chambres, très agréable car esthétiquement très joli, le personnel est au petit soin, les chambres sont immenses et très propres, les repas du soir sont à choisir le matin (entrée , soupe, plat et dessert) et sont très bien cuisinés (meilleurs repas de notre séjour) petit bémol : pas de buffet pour le diner pour les inconditionnels et le village n'est pas vraiment joli donc rien à faire dans le coin, attention à la mer , beaucoup de courant et vagues à cet endroit bémol du séjour : une piscine avec une eau verte (sale) malgré une intervention technique
